The CLEAR CREEK BOWMEN were founded in 1973 by the following members. Fred Radtke, Mike Kinkel, Fern Meigs, Tim Meigs, John Schulz, Jim Schlapkohl, Jim Davis, Albert Uhart and Laurel Cooney.

The archery range was located on the Spooner Summit between Hwy 50 and Clear Creek Rd. In 1999 the land went into a Family Trust and the range could no longer be used by the Clear Creek Bowmen. The Clear Creek Bowmen obtained a Special Use Agreement with Carson City to move the Range on a small portion of land just east of Centennial Park off of Hwy 50 East. With continued help from the Carson City Recreation Dept we were able to build a Storage Unit, which houses about 80 3-D targets.

Club dues for a new membership are $20 Initiation fee + $25 yearly dues for the entire family. This includes notification of up coming shoots, a decal and the use of the archery range. The range is available to the public through the activities of the Club.

If you would like to become a club member or would like to let us know of some up and coming shoots. Please E-mail us at CLEARCREEKBOWMEN@YAHOO.COM.You can also click on the link below and send in the form. Please send check or money orders as we are unable to accept credit cards at this time. Come on and be a part of the fun.
